K1 Cradles for SpareHand Kayak Storage Rack These K1 cradles are for mounting on the Stoneman Sports SpareHand Kayak Storage Racks. Depending on the model the kayak rack will already come with one two or more K1 cradles. You can buy this extra set if your rack is rated to accept more that originally supplied. Careful because a rack carrying more kayaks than intended would be unstable and unsafe. These K1cradles are easily mounted easily moved up or down and hold the kayak securely against the rack body once the kayak is correctly positioned. The K1 cradles fold up when not in use. What more to say? They are pricey at $50 for two but no substitue exists if you have a SpareHand kayak rack. I have a twokayak Sparehand Malibu Plus rack and the K1 cradles work just fine as advertised. My rack can hold four kayaks and if I had a need I would buy a set of these K1 cradles. I recommend them as welldesigned sturdy finished hardware accessories.

Works great Missing the bolts to tighten the cradle2.Great product except for the missing hardware. Cradles tend to spin on the poles a little when you try to place the kayak in them. I think this would probably be the case for all such similar items.

We have two topoftheline kayaks that we wanted to be securely stored in a location in our basement that was out of the way for the winter but easily accessed during our springsummerfall kayaking months. The racks are designed to store the kayaks on an angle which I originally was not a fan of but turns out it occupies much less space and a safety strap is included on each bar which fully alleviated my concern about the angled position. Multiple kayak storage system boat rack Currently I only have one boat so I am not taking full advantage of this rack but I love it. It is easy to move around and I can use either the lower arms with the boat tilted in or the upper rack to work on the boat or store items under it. Muldoon The product is fine. The distributor in my case Stoneman seems to have some real quality problems in their shipping department. The round bar cross pieces were missing from my original shipment so I couldn't assemble the rack. I called Stoneman and a week later received the square bar pieces which I already had. Called Stoneman again and asked if they could overnight the correct parts since they had now screwed up twice. They refused. I finally received the correct parts. Hold my 2 boats quite nicely. sparehand laguna plus kayak rack we were looking for a storage solution as we have two emotion temptations and one ocean kayak nalu board. This is good as quite small area taken up and seems to hold the weight well so far anyway! we bought another set of cradles to store the third kayak as only comes equipped to hold two extra $60. the only drawback is that we have an adventurous one year old cat who likes to jump inside the top kayak and generally use it as a climbing frame!! At least this has shown its stable and supports them well as its not fallen over yet although cat has fallen off a couple of times no injuries fortunately!. The shipping boxes looked fine but the K1 cradle arm brackets were busted. Unlike the rest of the box the two arms in each kit are packaged together in their own compartment but loosely so. Outstanding customer service & good product When the shipment arrived there were issues with the screws but one phone call to customer service had this resolved quickly. After the replacement parts arrived assembly was very simple and the rack is great for two kayaks. I will buy from this company again based off there unbelievable customer service. Ideal This storage rack is perfectly ideal for what I was looking for. Very easy to assemble and my two wilderness 14' kayaks rest very nicely on this rack outside. It is quite sturdy but I did put additionad wgt on the legs because the location is in a very wind area. I used 4x4 pressure treated 6' sections two on each side.
